Women in the war were very important, made lots of effort, and helpful. During Civil War women stayed at home to keep up with the house, husband, children. Women also tried to join the war but that didn’t work because women didn’t have rights at the time. Also women would become nurses. This was the only role they had in  the civil war which was very important to many other lives​
