Another part of the civil war isn’t a gun, but a bullet. Guns (rifles) fired bullet called Minie Ball
(http://www.historynet.com/minie-ball) Minie Balls are a “type of muzzle-loading spin-stabilized rifle bullet named after its co-developer, Claude-Étienne Minié, inventor of the Miniérifle. It came to prominence in the Crimean War and American Civil War.” This new bullet could fire faster, stronger, and was way more precise. When it came to reloading it was and improvement as well.
